Top Health and Beauty Benefits:

Winter squash and pumpkin, like other richly coloured vegetables, are an excellent source of carotenes. Carotenes act as antioxidants and enhance immune function. Antioxidants contribute to slowing the aging process, keeping us younger, fresher and looking our best, and counteract the effects of free radicals from our environment, food, and daily stresses.
  • Pumpkin has been shown to exert a real protective effect against many cancers, heart disease and particularly type-2 diabetes.
